The Path to Peace service is short and reflective.

Who is it for?

The service is for:
  • those who have been recently bereaved
  • those dealing with:
    • sickness and illness
    • anxiety and stress
    • any form of problem or difficulty
  • those needing a space for reflection and quiet.
Even if you have little or no faith but are searching for peace, you would be most welcome to join us.

What do we do?

There is:
  • an introduction
  • a short reading from the Bible
  • a brief reflection on how that passage might speak to our needs
  • a time of prayer during which you can light a candle as a symbol of your love and concern
  • we then move to the service of Holy Communion during which you can:
    • receive Communion or
    • have a Blessing or
    • remain where you are in peace and quiet.
We guide you through the service so you always know what (if anything) you need to do.

Who is the team?

The Path to Peace team includes The Clergy at St Michael's, Geoff and Gerry Samuelsson-Brown: please contact us via the Parish Office or email .
We meet on the fourth Tuesday evening each month at 7.30pm at St Michael's Church, Easthampstead. The combined Path to Peace and Eucharist service lasts about 45 minutes and is followed by tea and biscuits in the Church Annexe.
