We are a happy, successful and busy Toddler Group and we run every Thursday morning from 9.30-11.15 am. The cost of each session is £1.50 per family.
We are open most Thursdays during term time. We begin with a small and informal children’s service in church, which starts promptly at 9.30am. Please do not worry if your child is a little noisy, most children are when they first join us. We start by ringing the church bell with accompanying Ringing Rhyme at the back of church and then have a short story or talk by a member of clergy or one of our team. This is followed by singing and instruments. We finish with a prayer and our Circle Song.
Everyone then goes down to the Parish Centre for registration and refreshments. A healthy snack and juice for the children and hot drinks for the adults. On the first Thursday in the month we have cakes (donations are always welcome). We then have playtime, a large and varied selection of toys are available for the children to enjoy, followed by a craft activity, in which we try to continue our Church theme.
Toddlers have a great team, who are always on hand, please introduce yourself.
Clear up begins at 11am and we ask all parents/careers to help. We finish our session at 11.15am.
