Safeguarding

"Speak out for those who cannot speak, for the rights of all."

(Proverbs 31:8)

We take our safeguarding responsibilities very seriously and are committed to making our church a safe space, and to dealing openly and transparently with any issues raised.

Our commitments to all

  • We will strive to promote a safe environment and culture for all,
  • We will safely recruit and support all those with any responsibility related to children and vulnerable adults,
  • We will respond promptly to every safeguarding concern or allegation,
  • We will care pastorally for victims/survivors of abuse or other affected persons,
  • We will care pastorally for those who are the subject of concerns/allegations of abuse and other affected persons, and
  • We will respond to those that may pose a present risk.
